Description
Vintage Mecklenberg plate, Grimwaldes, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. The porcelain mark indicates that the plate was produced in the early 1930s. Transfer design of a Bird of Paradise - Phoenix sitting on a tree branch, red flowers and dark leaves.
The plate is c.9" [22.9cm] across, shows some aging, crackled glaze, no chips, no hairlines, very good condition..
