East Asia, China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE to 220 CE. A lovely pair of ancient pottery vessels with similar carinated shoulders and thick circular rims. Both are glazed a jade-green pigment, an auspicious color of health and prosperity in Chinese culture. One rests on a slightly concave base, and the other has 3 applied nubbin stabilizers on the base. Both are in nice condition with a silvery iridescence forming on the surface of the darker pot! Size: 6" Diameter x 4.5" H (15.2 cm x 11.4 cm)
