A BRONZE OKIMONO OF A HUMMINGBIRD ON A LEAF, MEIJI PERIOD
Japan, 1868-1912. Finely cast, copper patinated, and naturalistically rendered as a hummingbird perched on a stem with a bud, the beak reaching down below to a curled-up leaf, the plumage finely incised.

Provenance: Private collection, Belgium, acquired at Auction Art Remy Lefur in 2016.
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear, and few nicks.
