Steve Wozniak & Ronald Wayne Signed Apple-1 Operation Manual
12pp, measuring 10" x 8", Palo Alto, undated. An Apple-1 Operation Manual, produced by Apple Computer Co. Signed on the front cover by Wozniak in blue ink "Woz" and by Apple Co-founder Ronald Wayne in black ink "Ronald Wayne Apple Computer Co. Co-Founder 1976." Wayne's signature is over top of a "Library of Robert Wayne" blind embossed seal. With a "Signed by WOZ" sticker on the inside front cover, the manual includes specifications, user instructions, HEX Monitor Listings, schematics, and a warranty. Near fine, with bold, bright signatures.
Stephen Gary Wozniak (b. 1950) is an American electronics engineer, computer programmer, and entrepreneur. He began development of the Apple I in 1975, and a year later, he co-founded Apple Inc. with business partner Steve Jobs. Apple would go on to become one of the world's largest information technology companies. Through their work at Apple in the 1970s and 1980s, he and Jobs are widely recognized as two prominent pioneers of the personal computer revolution.
Ronald Wayne (b. 1934) is a retired American electronics industry businessman who co-founded Apple Computer Company (now Apple Inc.) in partnership with Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, providing administrative oversight for the fledgling company. The partnership did not last long, as twelve days later, he sold his 10% share of the new company back to Jobs and Wozniak for $800.
