A fine Beilby enamelled opaque twist ale glass or wine flute, circa 1765-70
The tall ogee bowl painted in white with spray of flowers tied by a ribbon, the reverse with a single flower amongst long leaves, faint traces of gilding to the rim edge, the single-series stem containing a multi-ply corkscrew, over a conical foot, 18.9cm high

A very similar flute painted with a tied bouquet of roses from the Peter Lazarus Collection is in Bristol Museum and Art Gallery (inv. no.Na871).
