A number of Beilby glasses painted with virtually identical vine trees are recorded, but firing glasses are very rare. A virtually identical firing glass from the Wyatt and Hartshorne Collections, sold by Bonhams on 15 December 2010, lot 54, is illustrated by both James Rush, The ingenious Beilbys (1973), p.93, no.51a and L M Bickerton, Eighteenth Century English Drinking Glasses (1986), p.341, no.1113.
