Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Xiangqi Porcelain Brush Pot. Potted in thick, cylindrical body, straight body, close rectangle lip, raised with round flat foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of group elder seating playing xiangqi on the grass field bellow dense trees. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years of The Great Qing Dynasty.
