The porcelain box is in a circular form, heavy on mid abdomen, correspondence dome lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid. Warm and uniform cobalt blue glaze applied to the whole body, only the inner box is pale white glazed. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely exterior, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years of Wanli Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
