In 1947, he became the first pilot confirmed to have exceeded the speed of sound in level flight. Offered is a fantastic presentation, having two Yeager autographs. One is a photo of Yeager squatting in front of a stealth bomber, inscribed and signed "Jim Good Luck Chuck Yeager." The other is a block of 32 cent commemorative stamps of his first supersonic flight, very boldly signed across the sheet "Chuck Yeager." Excellent condition, 18½ x 15", and one of the best signed Yeager pieces we have offered.
