Description
A miniature Wedgwood glazed creamware bust of Homer, molded with a circular socle and mounted on a square black basalt plinth. The bust is glazed creamware on a glazed terracotta socle attached to an early custom made ovolo-moulded black basalt plinth with original 18th century hardware. The bust is permanently affixed to the plinth. Impressed Wedgwood mark on basalt plinth, with three large firing holes.
