The case of dovetailed construction and banded mahogany inlay around front, top and sides - the lower drawer with bone escutcheon - wall papered interior. Mid 19th century. Some repairs to the mahogany banding, several tiny chips along the top edge, otherwise refinished and in good condition. Measures 14 1/4"W x 11 1/4"D x 8 1/8"H. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
