Description

England, circa 1820, the mahogany case bound with brass strapping and brass clad corners, the sides fitted with original recessed brass pulls - one affixed to a 'secret' drawer. The interior showing replaced baize lined writing panels and twin removable inkpots, retaining its original functioning lock mechanism and key, minor losses and surface wear noted. Measuring 8.75 high x 18 wide x 10 deep inches (21" open).
