Two cricket stools, both early 19th century. The first with oval and chamfered top and turned legs, possibly Shaker - 12 1/2"W x 8"D x 6"H - very good condition; the second, an unusual stool with scrolled sides and mounted on turned feet - the underside with a grouping of impressed marks "P A" - traces of original black paint and in very good structural condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
