British pattern 1897 infantry officer's sword, c.1910-1930, no maker's mark, the 32.25" fullered blade embellished with engraving including the royal cypher of King George V, a crown over the British Royal coat of arms and scrolled designs, the right ricasso marked "Proved" within a six point star, the left ricasso unmarked, the spine marked 3072 and the underside of the spine with a "B," the pierced basket guard with George V cypher, a wire-wrapped sharkskin handle with buttoned pommel, housed in a brown leather covered scabbard, overall with scabbard: approx 39.75"l, 2.5lbs **Provenance: An important San Antonio estate** Start Price: $200.00
