British pattern 1897 infantry officer's sword, late 1960s, the 32.25" fullered blade embellished with engraving including the royal cypher of Queen Elizabeth II, a crown over the British Royal coat of arms and scrolled designs, the right ricasso marked "By Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Sword Cutlers, Wilkinson Sword, London, Made in London," the left ricasso with a "W" in a sunburst pattern, the spine marked 98598, the pierced basket guard with Elizabeth II's cypher and holding a worn black leather sword knot, a wire-wrapped sharkskin handle with buttoned pommel, housed in a brown leather covered scabbard, overall with scabbard: approx 39.75"l, 2.5lbs **Provenance: An important San Antonio estate** Start Price: $200.00
