A lovely hinged lacquer box with a miniature painting depicting an amorous couple beneath a tree canopy with a quaint wooden vernacular house and bright sun depicted in the distance - surrounded by a decorative golden border - all against a black ground with a red interior. A beautiful box, perfect for holding jewelry or special keepsakes. Size: 3.25" L x 5.75" W x 1.375" H (8.3 cm x 14.6 cm x 3.5 cm)
