Description
Museum quality rare ware pitcher or cruche of the Gironde. Unlike most cruches, the top handle is in a lateral direction. One-of-a-kind sea green glaze with digit impressions. A rare bib glaze design. More information available on request. One of a very few in the U.S. Provenance: Stonge, Bordeaux. Dimensions: H 11" x W 10" x D 9" Condition: Antique pottery wear and tear with one small stress crack to bottom foot, few small chips to spout, minor fading to glaze.

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Friday, April 29th - Friday, May 6th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
