Description
ASSORTED ARCHAEOLOGICAL SEWING THIMBLES, LOT OF 17, mostly brass or bronze including Byzantine dome and ring examples, Dutch, etc., several silver of unknown fineness. One excavated from the Mexican War Battle of Buena Vista, and one from the Civil War battlefield at Savannah, GA. Together with one iron and two bronze archeological needles. Twenty (20) pieces total. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. 9th to 19th century. Various sizes.
