FRENCH AND OTHER ASSORTED METAL SEWING NEEDLE / NETTING CASES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a small French 0.800 silver needle case, a small brass needle case, a Gothic-style silver-plated needle/netting case, and a silver-plated needle/netting case with twist design. French case with a boar's head hallmark for 0.800 silver fineness and a partially worn mark, remainder unmarked. Total weight of French case: 0.040 ozt. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. 19th/early 20th century. 2" to 7" LOA.
Provenance: The Mildred Jarvis Collection, Kennesaw, GA.

Condition

Mostly in good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other minor to moderate imperfections including dents, bending, nicks, silver loss, and/or worn spots to decoration; twist-design needle/netting case with splits to top edge.
