Description
A pair of posters advocating an end to racism and the candidates of the American Socialist Worker's Party in the 1976 Presidential election. The first, 11 x 17 in., features the words 'Join the Fight Against Racism' on a green background, with an image at the bottom of a desegregation protest help in Boston. The second, 11 x 16.5, shows an image of an anti-busing mob attaching a black attorney in Boston on April 5, 1976, above the caption: '200 years of Racism is enough...Vote Socialist Workers.' Both lightly worn, with small tears or chips around the margins. The Socialist Worker's Party candidate, Peter Camejo (1939-2008) would receive the most votes in the party's history during the 1976 election.
