Item Details
Description
Forestry visor cap constructed of green wool with matching band and piping. The center of the band is fitted with silvered aluminum laurels surrounding a cockade, with a silver metal shell political eagle above the band at the peak of the cap, and a silver leader's cord affixed over the black visor by silver buttons on either side. The interior holds a brown faux-leather sweatband and an intact celluloid diamond sweat shield marked 'Ludw. Reuther Mützenfabrikation' in Munich. Beneath the diamond the cap is marked as size 57. Sweatband is lightly soiled else fine.
