George III Polychromed Satinwood and Maple Bench

ca. 1800, of chair-back form with a woven cane seat and back, each section with a painted crest beneath a segmented frieze, open arms and turned legs.
h. 32-1/4", w. 64-1/2", d. 25"

**The frame is in good, sturdy condition. One of the turned crest rails has chips along one end. The painted decoration to one of the back panels is flaking off. Scattered other wear throughout consistent with age and use. The caning to the back panels appears fine. There is damage to the seat caning along the front edge and center of the seat. The painted decoration appears to be original.
