19th century, the molded rectangular cornice with polychromed gilt dentillation, above a conforming case fitted with two glazed doors, each backed by a sheer fabric panel, raised on shaped bracket feet, the whole with gilt accents.

Condition
**The case is tight at its joints and free of movement.
The surface exhibits scattered mars, abrasions, dings and inpainting. Normal shrinkage and wear. The sides of the case exhibit some blistering paint, significantly more inpainting and losses to the edges of the molding framing the side panels.
A few glass panes are slightly loose. They are secured with window glaze painted black. There is some scattered loss to that glazing.
The interior has been lined with fabric. The fabric is in very good condition.
Lock is present; no key.
