Description
Impressive Victorian Egyptian Revival Silverplate Epergne
1891, by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, the circular base with three rectangular projections, each with a recumbent sphinx, surrounding a central gadrooned and knopped standard with three scrolling arms and central baluster, each terminating with a glass bowl of later date, draped with chains and raised on lion's paw feet.

Condition
**In overall good condition with some minor bumps and scrapes consistent with age and use, but no significant damage noted. No losses to the silvering except for a small, 1/4" flake on the finial. Glass in good shape and of later date as noted. Two of the discs into which the glasses fit are detached, one stuck in the the bowl. Marked on the underside with the Walker & Hall trademark, the model number 1361, and the date letter (theta) for 1891.
