Condition
**In overall good condition. Some scattered bumps and dings commensurate with age and use, but no large dents and no repairs noted. Some give in the handle from shrinkage of the insulators (which have cracks but no losses); the inside lower retaining pin is a little loose as well. Excellent detail and chasing. Each piece hallmarked (on the underside) with: 1) the London leopard's head; 2) the sterling lion passant; 3) the date letter "m" for 1827-1828; 4) the George IV bust duty mark; and 5) the "IF" maker's mark of John Fry II. Marks excellent, crisp and clean; the handle, lid and finial part-marked.
