Northwestern Europe, England, ca. 13th to 18th centuries CE. A collection of silver coins featuring some of England's most famous monarchs: a Henry VIII silver half groat second coinage, Edward I silver penny, William and Mary silver 3 pence, and a Queen Anne silver 4 pence. Please see the extended description below for more detailed information on each coin. Size (half groat): 0.71" Diameter (1.8 cm); silver quality: 95.5%; weight: 1 gram.

Henry VIII 1509 to 1547 AR silver half groat issued under Archbishop Warham. Obverse: crowned bust right within beaded circle, legend: HENRIC VIII DI GRA REX AGL Z FR. Reverse: long cross fourchee over quartered shield of arms, beaded circle, and legend: POSVI DEV A DIVTOR E MEV. Size of half groat: 0.71" Diameter (1.8 cm); silver quality: 95.5%; weight: 1.0 grams.

Edward I 1272 to 1307 AR silver penny. Obverse: Crowned and draped bust facing, pellet at beginning of legend: EDWR ANGL DNS HYB. Reverse: Long cross breaking up the coin in four sections with three pellets within each section, legend: CIVITAS LONDON. Size: 0.73" Diameter (1.9 cm); silver quality: 94.2%; weight: 1.3 grams.

William & Mary 1689 silver three pence. Obverse: Conjoined busts of William and Mary right without wreath tie, legend: GVLIELMVS.ET.MARIA.D.G. Reverse: Crowned 3, date above the crown, legend: MAG BR FR ET HIB REX ET REGINA 1689. Size: 0.69" Diameter (1.8 cm); silver quality: 93.3%; weight: 1.5 grams.

Queen Anne 1710 silver 4 pence. Obverse: Queen Anne bust left, legend: ANNA.DEI. GRATIA. Reverse: Crown above value divides date, legend: MAG. BR. VR. ET. HIB. REG. Size: 0.73" Diameter (1.9 cm); silver quality: 95.6%; weight: 2 grams
