Early 19th century English silver pedestal basket with reticulated border decorated with deer and pheasants amongst foliate, and central panel of a hawk? capturing a rabbit. With London city stamps, maker's mark of Richard William Atkins & WIlliam Nathaniel Somersall, date letter of 1825, and duty mark of George IV (1822-1833). Total approx. weight is 43.21 troy oz (gross). From an E 66th St, Manhattan estate. Dimensions: basket measures approx. 13.5" w x 13.5" d x 4.125" h.

Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
