Description
1984 book by David Andersen and Kevon Andersen on the Chino State Prison Diving program created by Leonard Greenstone that produced the lowest inmate recidivism rate ever recorded in the American prison system. Still. The training is like a BUDS, but behind bars. Lots of them. The very few inmates who actually manage to survive and graduate the Chino dive course, and who are often criminals convicted of many serious crimes, are known in the commercial diving trade as Chino Hands. This is a very, very, uncommon book on modern commercial diving industry with only one 1984 printing. Many divers know of the Chino Hands and may have worked with them, but only a few will have probably heard of, or have even seen a copy, this book. Like new condition with slight shelve wear to the cover edges. Buy the book. Do not take the course.
