This is rare and gorgeous soup/vegetable covered tureen, from the famous Avonlea collection by Minton/Royal Doulton - Made in England.
The tureen is properly marked with Minton globe and name of the pattern.
This pattern was made between 1976 and 1989
The rim is decorated with blue scrolls and pastel flowers on cream background.
It is too pretty and cheerful to keep in the cupboard, you'll want to keep it out in plain sight!
The tureen is 11 1/2" with the handles by 6" and it is 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid.
The tureen is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing - please refer to the pictures or ask questions.
