Victorian Elkington & Co silver plated copper tankard with Greek deities including Aphrodite caressing Eros, Hermes, a male wearing a Phrygian cap and accompanied by a canine, and three other female deities. Features ornate handle, a figural spout and intricate detailing on rim of base. Lid has bacchanalian relief and is topped with a cherub like figure playing two trumpets. Very good condition (loss of silver plate). Measures 10" x 6" x 11".
