A pair of Edwardian silver candlesticks, each circular filled base rising to a knopped baluster stem and vase shape socket with removable nozzle, of lobed outline with foliate detail throughout. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1903. Height 26.5cm.

• Both candlesticks appears quite dirty with some fairly heavy tarnishing all over and in need of a clean.
• With some residues of wax and dried polish.
• Both displaying some surface wear, marks and scratches.
• Also some minor dints and bumps, including around the base rims.
• A couple of small holes in the metal visible to bases.
• Some slight knocks around edges of nozzles, however both are a good fit.
• Hallmarks clear and legible, including part marks to nozzles; maker's marks a little distorted but still legible.
• Gross weight is inclusive of filling and other materials.
