Description
A rare Civil War store card token from Newcomerstown, Ohio. OH61A-1a R4. One side depicts a mortar and pestle with the phrase "Drugs And Medicines" around the top. The other side reads "A.S. Twiford/Photograph/Artist/And/Druggist/Newcomerstown/Ohio". Plain edge. Weight is 3.6 grams, diameter is 19mm. Flattening on the rim nodes as well as in the words "And Medicines". The advertising side has flattening of the rim nodes and on some of the devices, as well as greening in some of the letters of "Twiford". For the most part, the letters are still crisp on the advertising side. Please evaluate the photos closely before bidding. Our Shipper processes shipments via Shipping Saint.
