GORHAM "JOSEPHINE" ENGRAVED COIN SILVER SERVING UTENSILS, LOT OF FOUR, pattern designed by John Gorham in 1855, most with personalized engravings, each piece featuring ornate engraved decoration with a central landscape vignette surrounded by scrolled motifs and engine-turned accents, comprising a crumber/crumb knife, a cake saw, and two pastry/pie servers with one being large and the other small sized. Each marked "PATENT 1855" and "COIN" to back of handle, cake saw with pseudo hallmarks of a left-facing lion passant, an anchor, and "H" letter, large pastry server with retailer's mark for Benjamin L. Hood of Albany, NY. Total weight: 12.060 ozt. Gorham & Co. / Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. Mid/third quarter 19th century. 8" to 11 1/4" L.
