3 Vintage Miniature Hand Carved Buddha Budai Figurines. This lot consists of three miniature Buddha or Budai figurines. These figurines depict the Laughing or Fat Buddha, a Zen monk named Budai, rather than the original, historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama. They are carved out of a hard material, possibly stone or resin, and stained dark brown. Two Buddhas rest peacefully on their hands, eyes closed, while the third figure laughs uproariously. A fine set of miniatures for a Buddhist or admirer of the religion.

Dimensions range from 1.5 in h x 1.5 in w x 1.25 in d to 1.5 in h x 2 in w x 1.5 in d. Condition is good to very good. There is some surface wear. The brown stain seems to be worn and rubbing off somewhat. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
