SST. A very rare Tin Sign from Chevron Supreme Gasoline showing an outstanding graphic. These Signs were used as spare tire insert covers on Taxis showing various examples of Chevron & RPM advertising from Standard Oil. CONDITION: Sign is in very good condition throughout showing excellent colors with a very cool graphic throughout the field. Sign shows a few minor areas of paint loss in the Boy graphics as well as some minor paint lifting in the Chevron Supreme lettering. The remaining paint shows some minor spots of lifting but is overall clean and sound. Sign shows a few minor areas of surface scratch as well as some light discoloration but overall excellent. Sign shows one added hole at the top outer edge as well as some very minimal outer edge wear but overall a very nice example throughout and a very rare piece of Chevron advertising. Condition: (7.9).
