An early Victorian sterling silver waiter, London 1839 by John Welby Of shaped circular form with a shaped cavetto edge and a husk shell and scroll rim, raised upon three open work cast feet formed as rocaille acanthus scrolls. The field with flat chased C scrolls and foliage. Fully marked to underside edge. Diameter – 20.9 cm / 8.25 inches Weight – 373 grams / 11.99 ozt
