Description
An early Victorian sterling silver mug, Sheffield 1838 by Henry Wilkinson and Co of campana form upon a die-struck shaped base formed as textured leaves, the lower section of the fluted body with embossed leaves. A two section die-struck C scroll handle with acanthus capping and bell flower side. Gilt interior. Fully marked near handle. Height – 13 cm / 5.05 inches Length – 13.6 cm / 5.3 inches Weight – 207 grams / 6.66 ozt
