For your consideration is a Chinese rose famille plaque depicting a warrior in intricate armor. Chinese calligraphy surrounds the figure as do artist seals and the reign mark for the Qianlong period (1736-1795). The enamel decorations are masterful, precise and well-composed with the tile being housed in a traditional style wooden frame with hanger. Plaque is attributed to the Republic Period.

Provenance: From a private collection in Covington, Louisiana.
