A late 18th century French Bronze and Marble figural mantel clock by Pierre Robinot, Paris. 8-day time only movement with silk thread suspension and a porcelain dial with Roman numerals. Marble case with Bronze mounts including a figure of a French Explorer, possibly Robert de la Salle, above an elaborate scrolled foliate bezel and base. Some wear and minor damage to the Marble, small dial flakes at winding arbor, running when cataloged. 16 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $400-600
