Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi Jihong Porcelain Rattle Vase. The porcelain potted in bell shape vase, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. Warm and uniform red glaze applied to the whole surface, only the upper mouth rim and outer bottom is white glazed. Red is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Qing Dynasty. The red color of the packet symbolizes good luck, corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years KangXi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
