Classic Wild West Remington over under Derringer

Item Details

Description

Designed by Remington just after the Civil War this is the most iconic of all Wild West derringers. I believe nearly every western movie ever made had a scene with someone showing off one of these 41 caliber double pistols.

The top of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." The Type II was manufactured from 1888 to 1911, our Serial number 887 is obviously 1880s era. Blade front sight and notch rear sight on hinged tip-up barrel with manual extractor. Smooth spur trigger and checkered hammer with mobile firing pin. The grips are checkered hard rubber on a bird's head butt. Has a weld repair on the hinge. Steel shows some pitting. Bores are good. Grips are worn. Overall NRA Good condition. 100% original, 100% complete, and mechanically perfect. No finish remains. Ad and Gene Hackman picture not included.

Materials, Packing, and Shipping on this item is $25.00. Insurance is $1.50 per hundred. Signature required service $3.50 by US Mail and $6.50 by UPS. NO SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE USA.
