Western Europe, England, Ca. 18th to 19th century CE; North America, United States, ca. 19th century CE. A handsome collection of three high quality silver serving and dining spoons each engraved with a different maker mark and personalized initials. The first is a large serving spoon made from 89% silver and stamped "SRICHARD," likely an American maker. The handle finial is engraved with the owner's initial "B" in script. The next is a 93% silver dessert spoon with the monogram "LID" and the year "74." It has London duty marks and the maker mark "PE" on the underside. The last is 91% silver initialed "HD" on the finial and stamped with soft marks but may be "IC." Size: 9" L x 1.75" W (22.9 cm x 4.4 cm); silver quality: 89% to 93%; total weight: 142.7 grams

Dark toning and cleanable patina on all. Surface wear and scratches consistent with age and use. Maker marks are soft but somewhat legible on two. The "SRICHARD" spoon has a very clear mark.
