While the identities of the three men in this tintype are unknown, they appear to be a group of hunters. The man on the lower left grips what appears to be the barrel of a fowling rifle in his hand while his heavily-bearded neighbor brandishes a knife. A third man, who looks a bit older than the others, stands behind them to balance the photo. Whoever they were, they look very much like rugged characters.

Condition overall is good, some surface wear and light bends in the plate.
