Description

For your consideration is this Western Salesman Sample Saddle, circa 1900's. This original saddlery shop salesman sample surely dates to the mid 1900's. This sample saddle would have been used to show off the countless options a saddle maker can contribute to the right custom saddle. This saddle shows the type of harness the stirrups and latigo keepers are attached to. There is beautiful tooling to the fenders. This particular sample has had minor repairs and is missing a concho and latigos. The measurements of this sample saddle are 3 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" fender to horn.
