Andre Derain (French, 1880-1954) After: Etching From the Satryicon Portfolio. 1951. Limited edition etching . Signed in pencil lower right, framed. According to the documentation accompanying this lot, this print was originally etched by Derain in 1934 as a commission from Ambroise Vollard. In 1951 it was published with the assistance of Colonel Daniel Sickles.

Andre Derain was a French artist, painter, sculptor and co-founder of Fauvism with Henri Matisse.
