Title: Push up Candle Stick
Provenance/Additional Info: Nice early (1780-1850) hog-scraper push-up candlestick made of tempered sheet iron. It consists of a cylindrical shaft, attached to a round base with a thumb ejector tab to remove the residual candle stub, and a round lip or "bobÃ¨che" to collect candle drippings. The "bobeche" has a hook extension used for hanging the device. Original oxidized surface. In good working condition. Signed "Shaw Birmingham". Measuring 7" tall.
