Buffalo Bill Cody 1894 ALS Framed Display
Autograph Letter Signed, "W. F. Cody", 1p, on his Buffalo Bill's Wild West letterhead, 8" x 11", S. Brooklyn, September 15, 1894. Outstanding presentation, having been framed with a fantastic sepia toned print of Cody and a brass plaque, to a completed size of 31" x 22". The letter is near fine with a slightly rubbed and nicked frame.
Cody writes to lithography firm "A. Hoen & Co., in full, "Your favor asking me to send $2,000 on my personal account rec'd. We are making arrangements to pay all the Cody & Salsbury Co owe your firm. But I am going to get or ask you to extend my personal account a little longer. I will pay you just as soon as possible. I have lots of stock Cattle & horses to sell a little later on and can then pay you. Thanking you in advance."
