19th C. Meissen porcelain recumbant male and female figures holding sweetmeat dishes in the Blue Onion pattern. Both with 19th C. crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, the female with incised 2858 and below that 143. The male figure with 27 in underglaze blue below crossed swords and with incised numerals 2863 above 143. The female figure with loss to very tip of one finger, mostly hidden by the bowl she carries, and small chip to blue garment at the back. No other issues found. Male figure, approx. 8" x 11 1/2" x 9".
