Two American Ceremonial Swords with Metal Scabbards
c. 1870-1900, Two historic Styled Ceremonial Swords both with their original Metal Scabbards, both Very Fine.
Two classic design Military / Ceremonial Swords.
1. The first Sword measures 36.5" overall with a 31.5" blade, with a Mother of Pearl wire-wrapped grip, brass "D" guard with American Eagle head pommel, and a "Pineapple" teather. Its impressive brass metal scabbard has extensively highly decorative floral designs throughout.
2. The second Sword measures 35" overall with a 27.75" blade, with an Ebony wooden grip, brass chain guard and historic "George Washington" Bust pommel, likely used during Masonic ceremonies, having a plain metal steel scabbard. (2 swords)
