Here we have a very special 2020 Produced LE Paul Foster Estate, hand painted / stenciled Acid Test poster. FOSTER Estate Logo on reverse. Artist EUPHORIA FOSTER is the original artist Paul Foster's daughter. This is the first example to come up at auction so far.

Heavy stock acid free paper, hand painted and every example from this 2020 limited edition of only 100 produced is completely different. Stenciled on top of the painted surface, and then hand detailed in gold paint.

Many reproductions, posters, and prints have been made from Paul Foster's iconic Can You Pass The Acid Test poster of 1965, but this is the only project from his family. Beginning in the fall of 1965, Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters held a series of LSD fueled, multi-media happenings featuring the music of the Grateful Dead and chronicled in Tom Wolfe's Electric Kool-Aid Acid Tests. These HISTORIC events provided the initial spark that led to a full-scale counter-culture revolution that transformed our world forever!
